There were three (3) different series of markings of which this gun is the 3rd series (serial#s from ~27,000 to ~183,000). It is believed that very few of the 6.35mm pistols were imported into the USA or into countries other than the central European area - so they are SCARCE here. One word of warning: The Ortgies is possibly the hardest gun to reassemble ever made, UNLESS you know the 'secret'. And, it would make a wonderful 'Vest Pocket' or 'Purse' gun.
